Following the formation of Hilderinc Twā Football Club, a materialisation of Hilderinc FC due to its fast expansion, resultant of their transition to Saturday football, the ever evolving Blacks return to their roots as a Sunday team once again after a brief respite with a momentous game this weekend in a friendly against Dark Horse FC at Yio Chu Kang Secondary School.
A move which have been in development since 2014, the realisation of this project three year on is a testament to the vision and purpose of an ambitious and progressive Club.
Helmed by the HFC’s second president, Logaraj Sundram and newly appointed General Managers, Chua Yuxuan and Nicholas Ledenmark, and advised by Club Secretary, Gopal Peethambaran and Club President, Simon Khaw, Hilderinc Twā FC (HTFC) will be well-stocked by several bulwarks from HFC, who will form the core of an exciting outfit, who will complement, their Saturday counterparts, in all degree.
Geared towards building a formidable side, Hilderinc Twā, (meaning Warrior Two in Anglo-Saxon, Old English), the team will hold fast to the Club’s goal of being “an all-inclusive football team which embraces people of all races, language, religion and gender with the love of the Beautiful Game as the main motivation”, while working hard to be “a team which strives to be competitive and successful but an exemplary outfit in the local amateur football scene, holding fast to the value of sportsmanship”, as they kick start another chapter in the Blacks’ history.
